A GALLERY PRESENCE IN BOSTON SPA

(click to show/hide)

I have a few of my bronzes on permanent exhibition at the Barefoot Gallery owned by the very lovely Linda Schulz. She would be delighted to meet you and explain her collection.
The gallery is situated in the beautiful Yorkshire village of Boston Spa near Wetherby. As it is just off the A1(M) visitors often like to break their journeys here. Apart from seeing my work, they can enjoy a good lunch and browse the varied and interesting shops in this Georgian Spa.

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2015
AN EXHIBITION IN BERLIN

(click to show/hide)

This shows my recent blast in Berlin.
Betwixt Bolshevik bars and long breezy walks I managed to squeeze in a exhibition opening event at Gallery Kuhn.
The eponymous Andreas Kuhn is a delightful fellow. Pay him and my Ausstellung a visit if you happen to be in Berlin before December 5.
Please also visit Von Haefen's paintings.

GALERIE KUHN & PARTNER

That charming Berliner Andreas
Who with wine and good humour took care of us
With grace and aplomb
He discharged his "art bomb"
Till the whole of Berlin was aware of us!

His gallery opened its doors
To strong and resounding applause.
Amelia's sculptures stood proud
In the face of his crowd
While Flavella supported the cause!

Ich hab' noch einen Koffer in Berlin
The two lovely ladies from Blighty
Got stuck in the lift in their nightie
On being shut out
And not wanting to shout
They frolicked like Holly Golightly

That agile young sculptress named Amelia
Was out for a drive in her banger
When called on to park
Cried the street is too dark
And the space not the size of a hanger!

Now Berlin has plenty of Plaetze
For drivers possessing a Pfotze
Although far too small
Surely one size fits all
Unless it's a Damenparkplaetze!
That dynamic duo from Derry
Were having a blast on the ferry
Refusing to shop
Till they'd swallowed their drop
Knowing just what it takes to be merry

As a child she was terribly good
Doing all of the things that she should
But when Amelia got big
She did not give a fig
And hid grapes and said "bum"when she could

That bosomy beauty from Dulwich
With fiction and tomes of sweet knowledge
Would plump up her bra
Two abreast insofar
As marauding bookworms might forage
Seeking knickers and booze for the cabin
With lingerie eluding grabbing
Essentials are rare
Our beautiful pair
Took books tho' they don't hold the flab in

That charming Berliner Andreas
Who with wine and good humour did slay us
With grace and aplomb
He discharged his "art bomb"
Till the whole of Berlin was aware of us

His gallery opened its doors
To strong and resounding applause
Amelia's sculptures stood proud
In the face of his crowd
While Flavella supported the cause.
The rebellious lady of Tun
Aware of her need for more fun
When ordering drinks
Employed such high jinx
That the barman resorted to rum!

At Leipziger street 48
Lives a man who is strikingly great
A Viking called Doddi
Who loves everybody
Raving trance-like in techno till late

In a street deep in Pankow named Flora
Dwells Anja, our friend, we adore her
With love in her eyes
Knowing sweet compromise
Wisely make up and fashion just bore her.
